The Bible is NOT silent on the subject of trans-genderism

Anyone who utters that the Bible is silent on the truth concerning trans-genderism either does not know God or is ignorant of His word.  The Bible is NOT silent on the subject of trans-genderism.  From Genesis to Revelation God has made His grace and divine attributes known to all men (Romans 1:20 and Titus 2:11) so that salvation may come.

The Bible clearly states that God is perfect in all His ways (Matthew 5:48).  What He speaks comes to pass as no word of God is void of the power to bring itself to pass (Isaiah 55:11).  God is God and therefore what He speaks is the truth.  Proverbs 119:160 says of God “The entirety of your word is truth and everyone one of your righteous judgments endures forever”.  These statements alone should silence anyone who utters ‘God made a mistake.  He made me in the wrong body”.  It is man that is mistaken. God does not make mistakes!

In speaking the truth, all that is an error or a lie is revealed and exposed.  The way to expose the spirit of error is by first revealing the spirit of truth.  Accordingly, it is not necessary for the Bible to describe in detail every lie, error, sin or work of darkness – for in shining forth the truth it exposes all that is a lie.

God has said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. … So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:26, 27).  In stating that God made humans to live as either male or female God is decreeing that the crossing over from a male gender to a female gender is not His intention for humankind.  The desire to ‘cross-over’ or ‘trans’ navigate’ means to cross-over a boundary that God the Creator set for His creation.  The clear line of distinction between men and women is a manifestation of God’s revealed truth that His image be expressed as male and female.  God’s creation of humanity, made up of men and women, is not to be a mixture of maleness and femaleness which is confusion, but a clear division between the two.  It is only in difference and diversity that unity and companionship may exist.

Trans-genderism is a confusion in gender identity.  However, there is no confusion in God.  Leviticus 19:23 and 20:12 describe God prohibition of bestiality and the word ‘perversion’ is used. Yet in the King James Version this word ‘perversion’ is translated as ‘confusion’.  God is not a God of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).  In fact in the Old Testament confusion of mind was regarded as being under the curse (Deuteronomy 28:20).  God is a God of order, justice and clarity of mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We read in the book of James that confusion is a symptom of demonic activity (James 3:16).  Accordingly, gender identity confusion is not authored by God, but proceeds from the enemy.

When the church makes its stand on declaring God’s truth concerning trans-genderism, the world will know that it is Jesus alone who has the power to set free those who are plagued by trans-genderism.  The world knows it has no answer for those struggling with trans-genderism.  They know that this condition is too intense, too consuming and too emotionally confusing to set right with the medical knowledge available to them.  Their only solution is to manipulate the outer body so that it somehow aligns with what the inner mind demands.   Yet they have not questioned whether it is the inner mind that is misaligned, for they have no method by which to change the mind.  The Word of God alone has the power to transform the human mind.

As long as the Christian church shies away from boldly preaching the power of the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ, the world will continue to try to find answers in its own mechanisms.  The Church must rise up and declare that Jesus alone has the power to redeem those under the power of trans-genderism.  “Therefore if the Son makes you free shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
